In these, he seeks help for his people from the Great Spirit through the speed of the wind, and the strength of the bear. Calling The Wind is scrimshawed on an artifact of fossilized walrus. It is supported by tendrils of wrought iron on a walnut base.

Invoking Courage is a Dan Winkler knife with a hand forged filework blade. The handle is mammoth ivory with a rawhide thong wrap, and has a fringed, quillworked leather sheath by Karen Shook.
