This is a custom-designed knife with a scrimshawed ivory handle. The 11 wild cats which encompass the handle are depicted in a collage setting, while showing the natural expressions of each one. The intense hunting gaze and predatory growl express the cat’s tension filled energies which are contrasted by the seemingly benign repose of the others. Each minute whisker and hair seems ready to come to life.

The dagger, by knifemaker Don Lozier, features the Ladder pattern in Damascus steel by Jerry Rados. The nickel silver guard and pommel are engraved and inlaid in 14K gold by Julie Warenski.

The blade is 7 ¾” long with an overall length of 14.
